Con Tàu số phận đành xa Mẹ
Hình ảnh quê nhà – mãi vấn vương

Tha hương anh gởi trọn niềm thương
Cho em - cho Mẹ - và thân hữu
Cả bến, cả sông lẫn phố phường
Anh trải hồn thơ trên biển cả
Sóng tràn bãi cát dưới trăng sương
Bập bềnh Hoa Biển trôi trên sóng
Để nhớ - để thương - để thấy buồn

The Ocean called you coming with them
You came over there – with beautiful dreams
The Great Bear in the sky - shows the direction - only
You believe your people will be happy and wealthy
Your mission’s uncompleted by the war happens
Your dreams didn’t come true by the problems
Your Ship had to leave your Native-Country
You kept in your heart the images of family
&
You kept in your heart the images of family
You send your love from the Foreign-Country
To your Lover – to your Mom – and to your friends
Next to Shore - to the River - and the Streets of the Lands
You spread out your feeling-poems – on the Ocean
Like the waves to the beach under the moonlight
